Many families of children with disabilities end up with assistive technology equipment that their child has either grown out of, has become obsolete or was the wrong equipment to begin with. As an Assistive Technology Specialist, I have discovered that these families often have equipment collecting dust in closets and basements.
Furthermore, there are many families that could benefit from this equipment.
